From September 3th to 5th is the 16th Handicraft Exhibition held in Monchique.
The Handicraft in the Serra de Monchique is famous for its weaving, lace, scissors chairs , wooden spoons, wicker baskets,wax candles ,painted stones and more….
In addition, there are also a range of traditional beverages (Medronho and liqueurs) and sausage, ham honey and cake.
The musical entertainment is provided by the ethnic groups of Quelfes “Dança dos Velhos” on 3 September at 21h30 and on September 4th at 21h30. “os Amigos da Fiqueira” .
The 23th meeting of the Acordean players take place on the 5th of September at 16h00.
