Chestnut Party in Alferce

magusto-alferceThe yearly  Chestnut Party (Magusto) from Alferce will take place on the 1. of November.
Besides of the Chestnuts which are rosted in an open fire you will find some stands with local products like Medronho , Honey, Cake, etc… and Handicraft from the region of Monchique.

  • 11h00 Opening of the Stands
  • 14h00 Opening from the embroidery exhibition in the peoples house (Casa do Povo)
  • 15h00 Magusto, Dancing and a lot of animation from PM Live Act Akordeon e Braulíos.

Artechique 2011 – Handicraft Fair in Monchique

artechique-monchiqueArtechique – the XVII Handicraft Fair from the Serra de Monchique will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of September in the center of Monchique near the Junta de Freguesia.
There will be alot of traditional and contemporary handicraft  to see and  buy directly from the producers.
As well, there will be stands selling Medronho, Sausages, Honey and Cakes.

Portugal Jazz Monchique 2011
